Odisha MBBS & BDS Round 2 Counselling 2026: Provisional Admission Schedule Released
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has released the Schedule and Instructions for Provisional Admission to MBBS/BDS under Round 2 Counselling for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who have received a new allotment in Round 2 must personally report at the OJEE Office in Bhubaneswar within a tight two-day window, carrying original documents.
NTA Confirms NEET-UG Will Shift to Computer-Based Test Mode Soon, Nilekani Task Force Drafting Roadmap
NEET-UG is set to move to Computer-Based Testing (CBT) mode "very soon," according to National Testing Agency (NTA) Director General Subodh Kumar Singh. Speaking to news agency ANI, Singh confirmed that the Nandan Nilekani-led high-powered task force is actively working on the transition plan for taking NEET-UG online. "All our examinations are CBT except the NEET examination. On NEET also, we will be moving to CBT very soon," Singh said, directly linking the shift to the ongoing work of the Nilekani panel.

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has published the Round 2 Merit List for MBBS and BDS admissions 2026-27, marking the next stage of the state's UG Medical and Dental Counselling process. Candidates who registered for Round 2 can now check their updated merit position and rank on the official WBMCC UG Medical & Dental Counselling portal ahead of choice filling.
