Odisha MBBS & BDS Round 2 Counselling 2026: Provisional Admission Schedule Released

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has released the Schedule and Instructions for Provisional Admission to MBBS/BDS under Round 2 Counselling for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who have received a new allotment in Round 2 must personally report at the OJEE Office in Bhubaneswar within a tight two-day window, carrying original documents.

The notice, published on dated 13.09.2026, also details the Freeze/Float option, fee payment, and reporting exemptions for Round 1 upgrades.

Key Highlights of the Round 2 Schedule

• Venue: OJEE Office, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar.

• Dates: 17th and 18th September 2026, in staggered one-hour slots by allotted college, between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

• 17th September covers colleges including SCB Medical College (Cuttack), DRIEMS Medical College (Tangi), GMCH Jajpur, Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College (Talcher), MKCG Medical College (Berhampur), Hi-Tech Dental College (Bhubaneswar), and GMCH Kalahandi, Sundargarh, and SLN Medical College (Koraput). All NRI Quota candidates also report this day, 2:00–3:00 PM.

• 18th September covers Hi-Tech Medical College (Bhubaneswar & Rourkela), PRM Medical College (Baripada), FM Medical College (Balasore), VSS IMSAR (Burla), SJ Medical College (Puri), BB Medical College (Balangir), GMC Phulbani, SCB Dental College (Cuttack), and GMCH Keonjhar.

• Candidates must exercise Freeze or Float and complete payment online before reporting in person.

Who Needs to Report - and Who Doesn't

• Newly allotted candidates must report physically with original documents.

• Upgraded candidates who already reported in Round 1 need not report again - just exercise Freeze/Float online and download the updated allotment letter (the Round 1 letter is automatically cancelled).

• Candidates upgraded within the same college, or those who retained their Round 1 allotment unchanged, also skip physical reporting this round.

• All upgraded candidates (except Private-to-Government or Private-to-Private shifts) should report after the 3rd Round, with their old admission letter, updated bond, and affidavit.

Documents & Fee Payment

Candidates must carry original certificates, mark sheets, the prescribed Bond, and Nativity Certificate/CLC, plus photocopies of everything. Fees can be paid online or via Demand Draft in favour of "OJEE" (any Nationalised bank, payable at Bhubaneswar), with name and NEET application number on the back. Only the candidate, optionally with one guardian, should visit the office.

Fee Structure

• Government Medical/Dental Colleges: ₹37,950 per annum (institution-level extras may apply).

• Private MBBS colleges: Hi-Tech Bhubaneswar ₹11,56,000/yr; Hi-Tech Rourkela ₹8,54,000/yr; DRIEMS Cuttack ₹9,08,000/yr; Hi-Tech Dental Bhubaneswar ₹3,00,000/yr.

• NRI candidates pay four times the applicable private-college fee.

Any government-ordered fee revision applies automatically.

Important Instructions

• Do not report directly at the allotted college - complete admission at the OJEE office first.

• Failure to complete Freeze/Float, payment, and reporting makes a candidate "non-reported", cancelling the seat (though Round 3 participation remains possible with fresh consent).

• Candidates upgrading to a higher-fee college must deposit the difference via Demand Draft.

• Refunds (e.g., Private-to-Government shifts) are processed only after final admission.

Why This Matters

With reporting squeezed into two days and hour-long slots per college, check your exact institute and time carefully — missing the slot or skipping Freeze/Float and payment risks seat cancellation.
