Which Colleges Are Covered

This Phase-1 counselling round covers admission into affiliated Private Medical/Dental Colleges, the Army College of Dental Sciences, and the Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences (affiliated to Anurag University), under Management Quota B and C/NRI categories.

Web Options Schedule

Candidates whose names appear as eligible in the final merit list of MBBS/BDS Admissions under Management Quota, published on the KNRUHS website on 9th September, 2026, are eligible to exercise web options for this phase.

The window is open from 5:30 PM on 9th September, 2026, to 4:00 PM on 11th September, 2026, through the official portal, https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in/.  Candidates need an internet-connected computer to access and complete this process — options cannot be exercised in person or offline.

How to Exercise Web Options

Candidates must enter their preferences for MBBS/BDS seats in order of priority — covering course, college, and category (B or C/NRI) together. There's no limit on the number of choices a candidate can exercise; you can select as many eligible courses and colleges as you're genuinely interested in, provided they match your registered category eligibility.

A one-time password, consisting of a six-letter code using capital English letters (A-Z), will be sent to your registered mobile number at the time of exercising web options — candidates should refer to the detailed instructions provided before entering their choices. Once your options are saved, take a printout for your own records.

University Fee: B vs C/NRI Category

Allotted candidates must pay the applicable University Fee online (Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking) before downloading their allotment order.

For B Category: MBBS costs ₹1,00,000, and BDS costs ₹40,000.

For C Category/NRI: MBBS costs ₹2,00,000, and BDS costs ₹80,000.

This fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Tuition Fee

Tuition fee is paid separately, directly at the respective Medical/Dental College, as notified by the Government of Telangana (G.O.Ms.No. 98, HM&FW(C1) Dept., dated 7th August 2026).

For Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences specifically, tuition fee stands at ₹16,50,000 per annum for B Category and ₹24,75,000 per annum for C/NRI Category.

Seat Reservation Rules Worth Understanding

Within Management Quota B Category, 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates of Telangana, while the remaining 15% are open to candidates from across the country. Notably, the 15% unreserved seats are allotted first, followed by the seats reserved for local Telangana candidates.

Management Quota seats (B & C/NRI) in Private Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim Minority candidates only. If Muslim Minority candidates aren't available to fill these seats, they may be opened to Non-Minority students, but only up to a maximum of 30%, and only during the final phase of counselling.

Army College of Dental Sciences Management Quota seats are reserved exclusively for wards of Army personnel, as per AWES regulations.

Final verification of original certificates happens at the allotted college — any discrepancy found at this stage results in the provisional allotment being cancelled, with further action initiated as per University regulations. Original certificates submitted at admission are not returned unless the candidate discontinues the course.

Discontinuation Penalty

Admitted candidates who discontinue their course after the second phase of counselling must pay a discontinuation penalty of ₹20 lakhs, as per Government orders, before their original certificates are returned to them.

Special Requirements for NRI Quota Candidates

Candidates allotted a seat under NRI quota must produce the original sponsorship letter from their NRI relative, along with a copy of the sponsor's passport, residence proof, and bank statement/passbook, at the respective college.
